Raya offers a wide range of payment plans and facilities to cater to all customers, making the process as simple and efficient as possible. Additionally, Raya provides a credit limit of up to 500,000 EGP, which is determined based on the customer's provided documents.
The Credit Limit for Employees

- Employees earning a monthly salary of over 10 thousand pounds must provide a letter from the human resources department to their workplace, specifically regarding their salary.
- A bank account statement (online- and the seal is not required) that clearly indicating the transaction of the monthly salary should be provided.
- To increase the credit limit, a club membership card and a car license must be provided.
All credit limits described above are guidelines and can be increased or decreased, as the credit department determines
Business Owners' Credit Limit
The documents mentioned in the following cases must be submitted:
- The HR Letter must be provided if the monthly wage is more than ten thousand pounds.
- A bank account statement that indicates transactions of the monthly income must be provided (online; the seal is not necessary).
- The onsite inquiry visits are conducted on the premises at all stages.
- All credit limits described above are guidelines and can be increased or decreased, as the credit department determines.
If the customer is a business owner, the following documents are required:
- Guarantor
- Utility Receipt (for the premises)
- Rental contact
The credit limit for pensioners
The required documents if the customer is pensioners:
- The national ID that indicates that the client is a pensioner.
- A sealed, newly-issued pension payroll statement - it is allowed to request installment service until the age of 65, as long as the customer is not above 65 on the date of the last installment payment.
- A newly issued utility receipt (electricity, water, or gas) must be presented in the customer’s name. If it is not available, an on-site inquiry visit to the residence must be conducted.
Conditions for installments for pensioners
- Monthly pension value must be at least £3,500.

Terms and Conditions
- The company provides the consumer financing necessary to purchase goods or obtain consumer services that may be financed in accordance with the provisions of the Consumer Finance Law and the decisions issued by the Authority, based on the customer’s request, provided that the customer pays the financing amount he obtained through a set of monthly installments over a repayment period extending from six (6) months to 36 months.
- The customer must pay the installments on the dates agreed upon by the company through a debit card or any other payment method approved by the Central Bank.
- The customer must pay the installments directly to the company or through approved methods.
- The customer is responsible for covering administrative expenses, which amount to 7%. However, if the customer qualifies for an interest-free installment offer, the administrative expenses are reduced to 1%.
- It is not allowed for the customer to dispose of the item/items subject to the installment contract in any manner until all installments have been paid and the entire debt has been settled. If this condition is violated, the entire debt must be paid immediately.
- The customer will receive a text message on the mobile phone number they provided, which will contain the credit limit activation code. The code can be activated by informing the branch employee of the code.
- There is a fee of 125 EGP to open an installment account, and an additional 125 EGP is required each year to renew the account. Additionally, there are correspondence expenses of 36 EGP per year, collected on a monthly basis.
- The customer is granted a credit limit that can be utilized within one year from the date of granting. The Credit Department renews this limit on an annual basis.
- After the credit limit is activated, the customer is fully responsible, both legally and financially, for any amounts used from the credit limit and for repaying them.
- The customer must agree to receive the product/products they purchase from the website (Raya Shop) within 20 (twenty) days from the date of purchase and completion of the contract. Raya Electronics will not be held responsible or obligated in any way.
- The total value of the devices is considered a lien on the customer in the event of insolvency or death.
- The Company has the authority to make changes to the fees and returns based on market developments, without requiring customer approval. However, the customer will be informed about any amendments through various communication channels used by the Company.
- If there is a difference between the Arabic text and the English text on the mobile application or any electronic browser recognized by Raya, the Arabic text will be considered the authoritative version.
- The Customer is fully accountable for ensuring the accuracy and authenticity of all documents and data provided as proof of identity or income. It is important to recognize the legal consequences that may arise from any forgery or falsification of such documents.
- Customers are entitled to a 30-day window to replace or return any defective or non-conforming products they have purchased. However, it is important to note that the product must be in its original condition at the time of purchase.
- Installments can be paid through various channels: (Raya branches - Raya Store - Aman PoS) - Please be aware that there is a premium service fee of 20 EGP for payments made through mobile phone wallets or the website.
- If a customer misplaces their original national ID card, it is important that they promptly inform Raya to avoid any possible liabilities that could arise as a consequence.
- The customer must not disclose their username and/or password to any person or entity and by any means of communication, to avoid fraud, noting that Raya’s team will not ask customers for this data.
- Customers are entitled to request a clearance document with sealed bill numbers from the company or a clearance document sealed by the bank - to verify the authenticity of the signature. However, it's important to note that both options are subject to fees determined by Raya Electronics.
- The credit limit is temporarily suspended if the customer is more than 30 days late in payment and less than 60 days until payment and is automatically reactivated.
- The credit limit is temporarily suspended if the customer is more than 60 days late in payment and less than 90 days until payment and is reactivated after the approval of the Collection Department.
- The credit limit is permanently suspended if the customer is 90 days late in payment or more after the due date.
- The customer must acknowledge and authorize Raya Electronics LLC or its representative to complete the necessary information on the promissory note issued by the customer. The customer cannot revoke this unconditional authorization. The customer agrees that any added data will be considered as issued by them, and they have no right to object to or appeal to the addition of this data in any legal or non-legal proceedings, both now and in the future.
- By signing the consumer finance contract, the customer grants the company the authority to conduct various inquiries to verify their identity, confirm their residence and employment, and check their credit history. These inquiries may involve contacting banks, reviewing their position with the Central Bank of Egypt, and consulting with relevant governmental and non-governmental bodies. The company will utilize appropriate means and media for these inquiries.
- The customer must ensure that their obligations and monthly installments, including those with Raya Electronics, do not exceed 50% of their monthly income at the time of financing approval.
- The customer must update his data annually or in the event of any change in the data.
- Raya credit team has the right to increase or decrease the credit limit of each customer.
